Charter of Ethics

Tanger Free Zone builds its development on the basis of values and principles of action and behavior implemented by the General Management and by its employees.

They constitute the foundation for confidence that must exist between the company and its customers, suppliers , shareholders, as well as members of its staff.

This code of ethics is intended to formalize the body of essential common references so that everyone in the company can refer and comply to in all circumstances.

These rules are not exhaustive but, combined with a sense of responsibilities, they are all useful benchmarks for members and partners of the company.



Principles of Action



Due process


Tanger Free Zone applies the laws and regulations in its day-to-day operations.
TFZ complies with the Labor Code, particularly the protection of workers, the prohibition of forced labor and child labor.
It condemns and actively combats corruption.



Respect of fairness and transparency


Tanger Free Zoneis policy ensures loyalty towards customers and suppliers, in order to build and maintain lasting trust relationships.
TFZ provides shareholders with transparent and complete information, and reflects accurately its operations in its accounts (Results) and prospects of the company.
TFZ guarantees voting rights of shareholders as well as their equitable treatment.


Compliance with health and safety


Tanger Free Zone aims to implement a proactive and preventive health and safety policy and to ensure its consistent application ; thus, sub-contractors that are involved in the site are asked to have the same vigilance.
Respect for the rights of employees Tanger Free Zone  shall ensure that the rights of employees.
It does not discriminate for any reason whatsoever in hiring and labor relations, and behaves towards everyone with dignity and with full respect for oneis privacy.
TFZ is committed to ensure an active social dialogue with employee representative bodies in respect to independence and pluralism union.



Respect of the environment


Tanger Free Zone seeks to implement a management policy focusing on the continuous improvement of its services with the aim of preserving the environment.
 

Principles of Conduct


In exercising their responsibilities, Tanger Free Zoneis entire staff must apply principles of integrity and loyalty in order to preserve the trust relationships that the company has to maintain with all its partners and to reinforce solidarity and social cohesion.


Professional Commitment


Each staff member carries out its skills at the highest level possible and thereby contributes to the principles of actions that the company shares in a spirit of solidarity.


Protecting company assets. (Confidentiality)


Each staff member of the company has the obligation not to disclose confidential business information to third parties or employees within the company that are not entitled to have knowledge of . Every employee shall not use directly or indirectly, for personal purposes, privileged information he/she may have through or in connection with his/her duties.


Conflicts of Interest


Each staff member must avoid any conflict situation between the interests of the company and its interests or those of his relatives. In particular, each employee is prohibited from taking any interest stake in a supplier or customer, unless it is done through the purchase of listed securities in the context of managing a portfolio of securities and in compliance with rules prohibiting the use of privileged information.



Customers and suppliers relationships


Each staff member of Tanger Free Zone must comply with the principles of integrity and fairness in its dealings with customers and suppliers, and is forbidden to seek directly or indirectly any personal benefit unless it is in the context of gift invitations or socially acceptable.


Political Activities


Company staff members who are engaged in political activities do it in a private capacity, outside the workplace and working time, and refrain, in this context, to communicate about their group identity.
