Business area

The lands are being serviced , equipped , and made available to investors, upon authorization, for performing industrial and commercial exporting activities and services in the following areas:

Agro-industry;
Textile and leather;
Metallurgical, electrical , electronics, and mechanical industries;
Chemistry and specialty chemicals;
Services related to these activities;
Any activity mentioned in the joint order of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of Economy and Finance dated January 5, 1999. (See Details of Order)

Tangier's Free Trade Zone has two areas : a bonded industrial zone and a logistics zone.

The bonded industrial zone is comprised of fully-equipped modular lots of 1000-20000 m≤ and more. The prospective investor can lease lots through financial institutions or through leasing companies. The area is equipped with accompaniment facilities: business centers, fully-equipped offices for short-term leases, storage facilities, restaurants.

The logistics area includes the construction of a TIR park (International Road Transport) of 11 hectares, a gas station and a hotel.
